PlayStation has rolled out a new collection of Essential games for its subscribers, now available for claim as long as membership remains active.

October 2026 Game Lineup

This month’s selection brings a diverse range of experiences, including:

• Sim racing excitement
• Engaging multiplayer action
• Unique voxel-based shooting

While these titles are accessible to users in the UK, those in the US may need to wait a few hours for the update.

Claiming Your Games

Members have until November 2nd to add these games to their library, so it is advisable to act promptly.

Community Feedback

A recent poll showed that player sentiments regarding this month’s offerings are not overwhelmingly positive. An impressive 58% of participants deemed the lineup unsatisfactory.

Of the available titles, only 10% expressed the strongest interest in playing F1 25, while a significant 76% reported that they were indifferent to the games offered this month.

Final Thoughts

Overall, this set of games may not generate much excitement among subscribers. Many players are still occupied with a variety of other options available on the PS5, and some might choose to revisit F1 25 at a later time rather than diving in immediately.
