Lionel Messi brought down the curtain on his international career Tuesday night with a goal and two assists in his 208th appearance for Argentina. They called the game Messi’s “last tango,” turning the historic Estadio Monumental into a shrine to a national hero. Emma Bubola, a Times correspondent in Buenos Aires, joined host Natalie Kitroeff on “The Call” to watch the end of Messi’s legendary 21-year international soccer career. “The Call” is a new video series that reaches on-the-ground New York Times reporters and newsmakers in the middle of the biggest stories of the day. https://nyti.ms/4AUKw5W
