Upcoming Match Against Belmont

Date: October 10, 2026

Time: 6 PM

Location: at Belmont

Match Summary: Indiana State vs. Evansville

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – The Evansville Aces faced a tough challenge in their recent match against Indiana State, suffering a 1-0 defeat, marking their third loss in conference play this season.

Both teams played a defensively strong first half, restricting total shots to just nine. Evansville’s goalkeeper, Bri Chirpich, enhanced her season tally with four saves, bringing her total to 35 saves for the season.

Taylor Johnson and Brooklyn Robinson initiated a couple of offensive pushes early on; however, both attempts were thwarted by Indiana State’s defense. The breakthrough came in the 37th minute, when Peyton Wetzel scored the only goal of the match, assisted by Avery Oergel and Meagyn Riffle. Following this result, Evansville’s record stands at 2 wins, 5 losses, and 1 draw, with a 0-3 record in the Missouri Valley Conference.

Looking ahead, the Aces will aim to bounce back as they prepare to take on Belmont on Saturday, October 10, at 6 PM in Nashville, Tennessee.
