Vicky Pattison’s Fitness Journey and Charity Challenges

Television personality Vicky Pattison is gearing up for two significant charity endeavors. Beyond the physical challenges, her primary inspiration for getting fit stems from deeply personal aspirations.

A Personal Mission

Vicky expressed her motivations candidly in a recent interview with Women’s Health, revealing, “My big goal this year… I didn’t know I would be trekking the Great Wall of China or doing the Tyne to Thames challenge… I did know I wanted to have a baby – or at least try to.”

Upcoming Charity Challenges

Her commitment to fitness aligns with her participation in remarkable charity events. Vicky will be walking a segment of the Great Wall of China in support of the breast cancer charity CoppaFeel! Additionally, she plans to undertake the 250-mile Tyne to Thames challenge, which includes cycling, running, and kayaking, all aimed at raising funds for Make Some Noise.

Strength Training Regimen

To prepare for these physically demanding activities, Vicky has established a comprehensive training regimen that incorporates:

  • Strength training
  • Plyometrics
  • Pilates

She is working closely with personal trainer Rob Horslen and strength and conditioning coach Tracey Corbett, who has previously guided others in tackling similar physical challenges.

Motivation Beyond the Gym

Vicky’s training goes beyond aesthetics; it reflects her aspirations for the future. She and her husband, Ercan Ramadan, are focused on conceiving naturally, and her fitness journey is integral to this goal. “The goal is to feel fitter and stronger, while building the capacity to take on long days of activity,” she explained, indicating that her physical health is instrumental to her family plans.

Understanding Parenthood

In her documentary “Maybe, Baby?”, Vicky confronted the realities and commitments of motherhood. She noted, “What I realised slowly is that it’s a huge sacrifice and a huge commitment. But it’s also one that’s worth doing if you think you want to be a mum.” This understanding has further fueled her dedication to her health and wellness journey.

Focusing on Wellness

Ultimately, Vicky’s current approach to fitness emphasizes creating a strong foundation for her future rather than chasing a particular appearance. She is determined to undertake her charity work while preparing for the family life she envisions.

Further Engagement
