Keith Lee’s Status in AEW: Contract and Future Plans
Current Status
Keith Lee has not made an appearance in All Elite Wrestling (AEW) for nearly three years, with his last match occurring during the Holiday Bash episode of AEW Collision on December 23, 2023. Despite his absence from the ring and television, reports suggest that Lee remains under contract with AEW.
Insights from Recent Reports
In a recent Q&A session featured on Fightful Select, wrestling journalist Sean Ross Sapp provided an update on Lee’s status. He confirmed that Lee is still under contract with AEW but is not currently involved in any upcoming creative storylines. This has left fans wondering about his future in the company.
Potential Comeback Discussions
Prior discussions about a possible return for Lee surfaced earlier in the year, but those plans have yet to materialize. The cause of this delay remains undisclosed, adding to the uncertainty surrounding his in-ring status.
Social Media Controversy
In September 2023, Keith Lee sparked online conversation due to a social media post featuring Darius Wright, a figure known for his teachings in alternative spirituality. While the post became a trending topic within the AEW community for a short period, Sapp indicated that it did not lead to any further discussions among AEW personnel.
