New OLED Touchscreen MacBook Pro Models Set for November Launch
Apple is reportedly preparing to unveil its latest OLED touchscreen MacBook Pro models around the end of October, with a potential launch date set for November 6. This information was shared by Mark Gurman of Bloomberg during a recent podcast.
Retail Preparations and Product Launch Schedule
To coordinate with the anticipated product launch, Apple retail locations are scheduled for a significant “floor reset” on the evening of November 5. This reset is expected to facilitate the introduction of the new MacBook models.
The product unveiling is anticipated to occur during an event in Los Angeles, aimed at creators, prior to the public launch.
Additional Product Releases
In addition to the OLED touchscreen MacBook Pro, a range of other devices is rumored to be announced, including:
- OLED iPad mini
- M6 iMac
- M6 entry-level 14-inch MacBook Pro
While Gurman has speculated that the new models may be branded as “MacBook Ultra,” he has since indicated that they will instead belong to the MacBook Pro line.
Technical Specifications
Despite the introduction of OLED technology, new chipsets are expected to remain largely unchanged, with the upcoming MacBook Pro models utilizing the same M5 Pro and M5 Max chips currently in use.
Launch Timeline
If the November 6 launch goes ahead as planned, it would represent a busy period for Apple’s product rollouts, following the release of:
- iPhone Duo on October 23
- HomePod mini 2 on October 30
- HomeView and fourth-generation Apple TV 4K on November 13
