Apple recently introduced iOS 27.2, featuring noteworthy enhancements, including an upgrade to the Apple TV app that is particularly advantageous for users of the upcoming iPhone Duo: the Multiview functionality.
Enhanced Viewing Experience: Multiview on iPhone Duo

The Apple TV platform continues to expand its sports offerings, now featuring popular sports such as Formula 1, Major League Soccer (MLS), and Major League Baseball (MLB).
The new Multiview capability within iOS 27.2 is designed to enhance the streaming experience, particularly for sports fans. This feature allows users to watch up to four live sporting events simultaneously.
Previously restricted to Apple TV, iPad, and Vision Pro, Multiview is now accessible on iPhone devices, including the iPhone Duo. This advancement not only broadens accessibility but greatly enriches the viewing experience, especially for those who enjoy following multiple events concurrently.
How to Activate Multiview
Activating the Multiview feature is straightforward. Once you start a sports event on the Apple TV app, look for the ‘Multiview’ button at the bottom of the playback interface. This will allow you to select and customize your viewing options tailored to the sports events you wish to watch.
For example, when watching Formula 1, users can choose a preset Multiview option or create a personalized layout, featuring team views, driver perspectives, and course maps.
Optimal Experience on iPhone Duo
Testing the Multiview feature on an iPhone 18 Pro demonstrated that even with a smaller screen, users can effectively manage multiple streams. However, the iPhone Duo’s larger display is expected to significantly enhance this experience, making it exceptionally suited for accommodating four live streams simultaneously.
